Day 15: Dumplings!

We had cooking class today and we learned how to make FRIED Dumplings! They were heavenly. Nothings here is really fried and they were so good. They were actually pretty easy to make too.

The film crew, Rex, and his wife Jessica who tagged along with himThe film crew arrived yesterday and came to the school with us today. They are going to be staying here for two months to record us teaching and living, and they are even coming on vacation with us (which means I have to make myself presentable and not nasty, sweaty all the time) :P They live over in the Kaiyin apartments right now, and they are on an internship from BYU and are also doing some advertising for ILP. They all seem pretty nice. There is a married couple and one other guy, Andrew who is here.

Tones are the most difficult thing here. You can have the same word with four tones and they mean completely  different things. Its hard for me to tell the difference between the 2nd and 3rd tones
